Welcome Back Teachers

Who's ready to get an active start to the new school year?
We have some important updates to tell you about...

A message from our founder, Jon Smedley

A warm welcome back to all of our schools and fantastic teachers. I do hope you all had a fantastic summer break and have returned refreshed for what I am sure will be an exciting academic year.

The amount of schools now using Teach Active continues to grow as more and more schools realise the impact that this approach can have to children’s achievement and well-being.

It is an exciting time for ‘active learning’ pedagogy. We are proud to continue to receive national accolades for our work, work in partnership with Loughborough University and be involved in projects funded by Sport England and Public Health England supporting some of the countries most vulnerable children. We are proud to work you - our growing network of schools across the UK and Internationally who are making a difference to hundreds of thousands of children each week.

We do have a few updates to share with you – please do take a moment to read below and also share with your colleagues.

With best wishes
Jon Smedley

Summer Plans Updated

Over the summer break our maths and English consultants have been working hard to update plans, add new activities and consider pitch and expectations, ensuring resources are matched to each year group appropriately.

Our Maths/English consultants are highly regarded in their fields and have worked tirelessly to ensure plans are not only fun and engaging, but also move children on and help them to retain and master key learning objectives across both subjects.

We hope you enjoy the new games and find the changes useful when planning your next set of Teach Active lessons!

FREE Whole School Training

Last academic year we delivered FREE staff training to over 250 schools!

Due to the success and popularity of our sessions we have decided to continue to offer these sessions to all of our schools. We have two types of training available for you to choose from depending where you are up to on your Teach Active journey.

Better still – as well as weekly live training dates to choose from – we also have pre-recorded sessions available – allowing you and your team to watch at a time and date convenient to you!

Refer a Friend Service Launched

Schools love Teach Active so much they often tell a teacher friend or colleague from another school – thank you!

Well we thought we would celebrate this ‘word of mouth’ and thank you all

So this September if you refer a friend to Teach Active you will both receive £75 off your Teach Active subscription!
