The sun is (hopefully) out, the school year is in its final stretch, and there's never been a better time to get pupils up, active, and learning. We've just added three brand-new seasonal activities to the platform — available now across every year group, and ready to use straight away.
Whether you're filling a tricky afternoon slot or looking for something special to mark a big moment in the sporting calendar, there's something here for every class.

Maths Festival Packs — Supporting National School Sports Week
National School Sports Week (6–12 July 2026) is the perfect opportunity to bring maths out of the classroom and into the hall or playground — and our Maths Festival Packs make that easy.
Each pack contains eight ready-to-use activity stations covering a range of maths objectives. Set them up around your space, split pupils into groups of around four, and let them rotate through the carousel — spending five minutes at each station before moving on. The result is a high-energy, hands-on maths event that feels genuinely different from a normal lesson.
Stations vary across year groups but cover a mix of active challenges, including number work, shape sorting, measurement, telling the time, and more. For younger year groups, you might want to bring in some Year 6 helpers to support at each station — it's a great opportunity for older pupils too.
The packs work just as well outdoors as in a hall, so if the weather cooperates, take it outside. Each pack also includes a certificate of achievement to round off the event.
Perfect for a dedicated maths day, an end-of-term event, or simply a memorable lesson that pupils will talk about long after the summer holidays.

World Cup Quest 2026
This summer, the FIFA Men's World Cup heads to the USA, Canada and Mexico — and we've built an activity around it that football fans in your class will love.
World Cup Quest is a tournament-themed scavenger hunt with 20 questions per year group, blending Maths and English challenges with the excitement of the tournament. Questions range from addition and subtraction problems to punctuation tasks, reading clocks, writing sentences, and thinking about the host nations. The familiar World Cup context gives pupils a hook that makes them want to engage — even with curriculum content they might normally find dry.
It's designed to get children moving around the space to find and answer questions, making it ideal for an active lesson, an end-of-term treat, or a cross-curricular afternoon tied to the tournament.
With the World Cup kicking off this summer, the timing couldn't be better.

Wimbledon: Times Tables Tennis
Wimbledon fortnight has a way of capturing imaginations — and this activity brings that energy straight into the classroom without a racquet in sight.
Times Tables Tennis (known as Ping Pong in some year groups) is a pairs game where children rally back and forth, calling out the next number in a chosen sequence with each imaginary swing. No equipment is strictly needed — arms make perfectly good racquets — though balloons, screwed-up paper, or bean bags can add to the fun.
Each year group has its own set of number rules to pick from, so the challenge is always age-appropriate. Once a pair has worked through one rule, they simply pick another and keep going. Teachers can also make up their own rules, and children can choose for themselves once they get the hang of it.
It's playable anywhere, takes seconds to set up, and genuinely gets pupils moving. A simple, effective activity that fits neatly into any lesson — or works brilliantly as a warm-up.
All three activities are live on the platform now, available across every year group from Reception to Year 6. Log in to find them under your seasonal activities, or get in touch if you'd like to find out more about getting your school set up with Teach Active.
